Oldest Oxford Archer
And you are never too old. Have a look at one of our oldest active members in action:

GrandNational69

Taken from the cover of the September 1969 edition of 'The British Archer' this photo (taken by Ray Robarts) shows the 116th GNAS Grand National Meeting held at Worcester College. The archer to the left is Derrick Cox, MBE, a past County Champion and one of our oldest active members, shooting a Long Western. Derrick's archery has been rejuvenated recently (given his second place at the last Club Championships) since his working retirement.

In the foreground is the (then) President of the GNAS, Joe Davis, talking to Pauline Edwards, later to represent GB at the Munich (1972) and Soeul (1988) Summer Olympics.

The hat, the bow and the man are the same. Derrick, ever the gentleman, still gives up his seat(s) for the infirm.
