Shooting Venues

Summer

(April - September) Oxford Rugby Football Club is in North Hinksey Village, just off the A34 Western By-pass. We shoot on Wednesday and Friday evenings (6pm - dusk) and Sunday afternoons (1pm - 6pm). St. Peter's Field is at the south end of the grounds.

As well as ourselves and our hosts, Oxford RFC, the grounds are also shared by Oxford Saints American Football Team.

Vehicles are limited to the club car park or the northern edge of the grounds near the club shed. They are not permitted past the rope that borders the first rugby pitch.

Winter

(October - March) We are at the Sports Hall in Upper Heyford on Thursday and Sunday evenings (6-10pm).

The gates into the base have a combination padlock. If you are a member and you don't know the code, contact the secretary. Everyone entering or leaving the base must close and lock the gates behind them, even if you know someone else is not far behind you. Though it is not a functional military base any longer it is still MOD patrolled and they take a dim view of open security gates. Repeated oversights could threaten our indoor shooting venue.
